came here as part of a grad trip with friends and 2 moms. lets just say it’s a party everyday with jessie as your guide. carter was defiantly nice to look at, but unfortunately we heard he’s popular with the ladies. however, he was quite knowledgeable on the forestation. also, anne did amazing on her first time doing the entire course and was a great extra guide. we also did the guided white water rafting with tristen who had cool glasses and a great accent. super humble and real and gave interesting facts about things along the way. we spun the raft 6 times in the whirlpool rapids but next time we’ll do 10 at least.

We are in town from the St. Louis area. We did whitewater rafting one day and zipling on another. Both experiences were FANTASTIC!! Felt completely at ease & SAFE at all times! The staff here is absolutely AMAZING!! Highly recommend!

This was our second time to visit the zip line. It was even better than the first time. My husband and I were the only ones on this ride. Our guides Danny H and Sean M were superior. They were both very knowledgeable about the nature that was around us. We learned more about the trees and the views were amazing! Great time!

I was invited to a zip lining adventure with friends. I had never zip lined before. I am not necessarily afraid of heights, but certainly don't mind being on ground level. I reluctantly agreed to go with my friends to NOC. Upon arrival there were lots of activities going on...rafting, hiking, fishing, rope climbing and of course zip lining. We attended the safety course presented by our guides Perry and Hannah. They were friendly and thorough. We took a bus up the mountain to the zip line practice area. Perry and Hannah demonstrated how to zip line properly and made certain we were comfortable. We climbed two flights of stairs or so for our first run. My heart was pounding. Hannah chose me to go first. Nervously, I stepped off the platform and away I went. I was excited and afraid. I roughly mounted the arrival platform with Perry there to help. He told me I did fine and that I would be ok. The next 6 lines were fantastic!!! I had a blast. Zipping through the trees and over valleys was breathtaking. Beautiful scenery and a calmness as well. I would not have enjoyed it as much had Perry and Hannah not made me feel safe and capable. NOC zip lining is a must if in the area. I will be back!

We had an amazing adventure. My wife and 3 of our children did the zip line. Our guides were Sam and Hannah. We have traveled all over and actually run a tourism type of business in South Florida. I was absolutely blown away by how friendly and warm Sam and Hannah both were. These two young adults have a bright future ahead of them. I would recommend this to everyone that is looking for a fun family adventure.

I decided to go zip lining for my 60th birthday, and what a great place to do it. At no time did I feel unsafe. I had the best guides, Sam and Emma, who were so professional and well-prepared. The scenery was stunning, and the thrill of zip lining is something I'll never forget, especially the 2200-foot zip line. I highly recommend Nantahala Outdoor Center. They are a great company with awesome people working there.

This was an incredible tour with beautiful views. The guides, Emma and Coffee were amazing. They talked us through safety and what to do if something happens. They were very patient and knowledgable! The Megazip was the highlight of the trip. It was beautiful to be that high up and the views were breathtaking because of it. We had our 13 and 14 year olds with us and they did all of the zip lines except that one. I would definitely recommend it as long as you are not afraid of heights. The platforms between zip lines are literally attached to a tree...no roof or walls...just a sturdy platform. You can see how high up you are, but they hooked us to a safety wire and it was fine and I felt safe. The one thing I HIGHLY recommend is to bring water. You can purchase a metal strap to attach to the water and then attach it to your zip line gear so you can bring it on the trip. No backpacks are allowed.
