“Our guides were Andrew and Terry. Our family, my husband and I, and my two boys 13 and 11, had never whitewater rafted before and two of us were very nervous (my 11 year old and me). We had reserved single duckies for all of us but my youngest wanted to ride with his dad after reviewing the video. Accommodations were made and it wasn't a problem. Both men were very calming and made us feel safe. The both would check up on us often down the river. They showed us techniques to use and would pull us off to the side in order to tell us the best route. At the falls, we were able to get out and Andrew discussed with us the best way to go down. He even offered for me to ride down in his ducky. I should have because I had a pretty unsuccessful trip down. I was dumped and had a hard time surfacing. From what my husband tells me, not only did our guides move in to help me out but other guides as well. Ropes were thrown to me but I never knew it. I was too involved in trying to stay above water. My husband then said that when another guide, Hunter, saw that the ropes were not working, he dove in to get me. He pulled me off to the side and kept talking to me until I could breath normally again. I felt safe as soon as he had me and I appreciate his taking care of me until Andrew was able to get to me. He kept telling me that I was alright and checked to see if I was physically okay by asking me to move different parts of my body. I can't say enough about these men. At all times, we felt like they were there for us and our safety.”

“We recently took our scout troops on a 1/2day guided duck tour. We had three guides with our group and the overall experience was great. All of our Scouts, several who had never kayaked before, had a great time,”

“Beautiful river, great weather and awesome guide! My wife was very worried about rafting in her own duckie, but the guide did a great job encouraging her and leading the way. She did great and had a blast!”
