We had fantastic guides and the scenery was incredible at that time of day on the river. Carter knew a lot about the native plants and even stopped to show us the jewel weed and how it shimmers under water and comes out dry. That was cool! We had a wonderful time and will come back again.

The experience could not have been better. From the parking area to the final rapid in the duck. I found all the employees knowledgeable and helpful. Booked the trip and filled all forms out on their website made check in a breeze. We will come again highly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish. The water is swift and exciting for most participants. The sign in was quick and safe. COVID procedures were posted and enforced. Briefing was a comprehensive safety video with relevant and clear instructions. All equipment was is good shape and sanitized. Our guide Kaitlyn was friendly, informative, knowledgeable and inspiring. Tip of the day: go during off peak times for a more relaxed trip.

The staff at check in and video orientation were great. I would NOT however request our guide back nor recommend her. Yes, she did grab my daughter into her boat at the end of the last falls and finally got out to attempt to help us when we accidently got pushed over (not their fault) by a member of our group into some rocks and tree stumps. However, she wasn't at all that friendly. There was NO orientation at the put in; no this is how you paddle, steer, here's how to steer for 2 people in a duckie, no checking that techniques were good for those that have done white water before, nothing. I had my 9 year old daughter in a double duckie. Based on my previous experience with my daughter in a canoe on a calm lake, I knew she wasn't a strong paddler, but we still did it. It was a lot of work for me. We got caught on a rock once and accidently pushed over to a shallow area by a member of our group. We were EXHAUSTED by the time we caught up with the group those two times. This guide immediately started down the river again as we were pulling up to the group. Absolutely no rest for us, the members going slower, and ones who needed a few minutes to catch our breath and relax our muscles from the workout of getting caught on a rock and stuck in an area. Not very friendly, didn't start any conversations, expect for one question to ask where we were from, nothing. I worked ropes course for an outfitter once years ago and have been around many river guides, I would not recommend her. I liked our group though. They praised and encouraged my daughter, which made her feel great. No encouragement from the guide. She almost seemed a bit irritated to have a child on her trip.
