“Overall, we had a blast. Though we have enjoyed having a guide before, we couldn’t get the available times to line up with our trip. The raft rental is simple, and the advice and guidance prior to the trip is valuable. The only negative is that one of the guided rafts that put in 15 mins behind us, seemed to wanna control our trip. We ran across the same guide more than once sort of pushing us to get on down steam. I was under the impression we could go at our own pace: Of course realizing NOC does not want their raft out there all day. But we actually made it down in front of 2 of the other rafts in our party. We did stop to cool off once, and to get a look at the Nantahala Falls, as suggested. But we weren’t too far off a guided trip. But, all and all, the grandkids had fun; and we’d go again. NOC has been our go to river outfitter since 1988. I’ve personally used them on other rivers as well, and have always had an easy and fun experience. NOC is the best in this business, period.”

“Beautiful place in the river was very scenic. Every time I went all the guides were very knowledgeable on the river and zipline course. However, there was a little hiccup with my keys and I thought they had lost my car keys this time. If it hadn't been for that it would have been a perfect trip.”

“Easy booking online. Very friendly staff from start to finish. All equipment in great condition. Rafting trip was very exciting. Took our trip on a Wednesday to hopefully avoid weekend crowds, and it worked out great.”
