“We took an unguided raft trip down the Nantahala. The rafting and the river were both good. The staff were good and the facility is nice. It was pricey for an unguided trip. It was around $210 for one boat.”

“I have long used the Nantahala Outdoor Center as my source for rentals. They have done an excellent job handling large groups and by and large, their staff has accommodated my needs in an exemplary fashion. I would highly recommend that anyone needing rentals make use of the skills and resources they have to offer.”

“Our family of three rented a raft to enjoy a trip down the Nantahala. We received clear instruction from the staff before setting out on our voyage, with guidance regarding the most important rapids we would encounter. My husband and I have done multiple unguided trips before, but this was our first time on one with our 11 year old. We had a good time on the water and our kiddo got out of the boat chomping at the bit for more!”
