“We had a great time whitewater rafting with our guide, Bob. Afterwards, we did the zip lines with Carl and Chewy. All three guides were very knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun! I would definitely like to go back!”

“Me and my husband went zip lining and whitewater rafting here! It was amazing- we had so much fun! The staff was so friendly and made the adventures that much more fun! The center has everything so organized and makes sure there isn't a dull moment. They have stores and places to eat on site!”

“This place is awesome. We had a great time. Awesome zip line and whitewater rafting. We came as a family with a 7 year old child and she had a wonderful time as we did too. Our whitewater rafting guide was amazing. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time.”

“Arrived with our REI group and had the time of my life zip lining and rafting! Our zipline guides Sam and Perry were fabulous..Sam is just too cute for words and so encouraging and Perry is so calm and comforting..what a great team they were! Our rafting guide was also out of this world, but for the life of me I can't remember his name! Do yourself a favor and visit this center- you won't be sorry!”

“What a unique experience! I am not an outdoor person, and I walked away from NOC wanting more. The culture that has been cultivated at NOC is wildly apparent from the minute you step foot on campus as all of the staff are very engaging and love what they do. We started off with the rafting experience and the guides were awesome. Somehow they made the pre-rafting safety training fun. My group was fortunate to get Dale as a guide. Dale had it all -- he made you feel safe, cracked witty jokes, and did everything he could to make the experience as fun as possible, He even lead us to a victory in the raft surfing competition. Post rafting we enjoyed lunch right by the river and the food was very tasty. After we refueled we headed to the zip line portion of our adventure. Admittedly, I have always been afraid of heights, but I decided that I was going to give it a try. I stepped up to the plate and just couldn't muster up the courage. Instead of making fun of me or pressuring me into riding the zip line, the guides (Emma and Hannah) called the bus for me to ride back to base. Once I got back I enjoyed the view of the river until my friends completed their adventure. We ended the day with a phenomenal dinner. Can't wait to go back!”

“We stayed two nights here at the Dogwood Motel, and were able to go on a zip line tour and a guided raft trip. The zip line tour was fantastic as the leaves had turned so we were zipping through glorious fall colors. The guides, Greg and Sam, were professional and placed safety as their top priority. There are eight zip lines and the longest is a half a mile, which was amazing. We also went on a guided whitewater rafting trip, and our guide (Joe) placed safety first, but also made the trip exciting. The raft trip goes downriver for about eight miles through a beautiful gorge on the Nantahala River.”

“My 10 year d son and I went here last year and just loved it. I practically had to drag him off the zip line to go get in the water but he had a blast on the river as well. Our guide was great and we’ll definitely be doing it again.”

“A couple of weeks ago, three of us had a fantastic experience of zip lining with you. From beginning to end, your people are the best of the best. I also want to mention Chelsea, who was evaluating Richard and Trent was also our guide. Chelsea did an excellent job in her evaluation of Richard, while allowing Richard and Trent to do their jobs. All three of these guides were highly professional and customer friendly. They made our first experience at Zip lining safe, secure and very enjoyable. Given I am a few weeks from turning 70 years old, I am grateful. I want to let you, and them. know how appreciative we are for a job well done by these three professionals. They should all be given way more responsibility. I can only hope your other guides are as professional as these three. Sincerely Al McGowen Lakeland, Florida”
