“Nice to have a place where we all can hangout together. We all work stressful and long hours. Very seldom do we get to be together and chill. Bunk house was just what we needed to catch up and relax.”

“Our group of hikers/trail runners used a Base Camp bunkhouse as home base for 30 miles of hiking. The AT runs through the NOC so once we arrived we didn’t need to drive anywhere. We hiked SB to the Wesser Bald tower and back, then NB 7 or 8 miles and back, in one day. The facilities were clean and well kept. The general store was well stocked. The restaurant was great. (We were there the first week of September 2020. Covid distancing protocols were in place and we felt the NOC did a great job in honoring them). This was the third time I have used the NOC as a base for an AT hike. I’ll be back!”
