“Overall the Elm Cabin was perfect! Plenty of space for the 4 of us and everything we needed. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because when we arrived there were LOTS of dead stink bugs all over the cabin, including on top of the beds upstairs. I would recommend the NOC checking the cleanliness of the cabins before someone checks in if they have been shut up for an extended period of time. Other than that, it was great!”

“We loved staying at Elm Cabin! I traveled with my 13 yo and my father (71yo) and meeting up with my husband and 17 yo son who were hiking the AT. This cabin was the farthest away from the riverside activity but that was ok with us. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable - clean, comfy beds; a nice kitchen with coffee maker and a great table to gather around. Things to be aware of that we wished we had known ahead a time: you cannot park your car on the "driveway". It's way too steep and there's no spot to park in near the cabin. You need to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up a fairly steep incline to the cabin. Not a showstopper - my 71 yo dad did it with some huffing and puffing. But we had to make a couple of trips with our luggage. The bathroom is a wee bit small. Again, it's adequate and we all just took turns. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water :-) Staying on the property was absolutely worth it for convenience to all the amenities and would do it again!”
