“Having your fingerprints captured electronically for upload whenever needed is a real convenience for these types of application processes like the ATF Form 1, so I gave them a try. Once purchased, I got a call from the helpful folks at National Gun Trusts to arrange an appointment at my nearest participating UPS location. Just a heads up here: although the process for capturing your fingerprints electronically is simple enough, allow yourself close to an hour for that process to take place. I thought I would be done in 15 minutes, but was told it could take up to 45 minutes. There are several variables you have to consider as you try to have your fingers scanned such as pressure, finger rolling technique, and applying the same pressure on all your fingers at the same time. Getting a green light on clear images on all your fingers at the same time may take several attempts. It is similar in many ways to the techniques used by officers to physically roll your fingers so keep that in mind. Once done I received my .EFT file within the hour. After, it was a pleasure to simply upload the file to the ATF to check off on that requirement of the Form 1 process. I now have that file for any future applications.”

“Can I fill e from ATF Final Rule 2021R-08F with an electronic fingerprint upload online ? I got an email submitted from ATF today But I have to send ATF my physical card fingerprint also ? I am really confusing Thank you”
