This is to ensure safe shipment can occur without drastic reduction in active colony forming units (CFU).While heat may reduce the active CFU it will not change the structure of the product and therefore will not cause harm. About the product:The capsules are enteric coated, reddish brown in colour and cannot be pulled apart. This colouring is part of the enteric coating and ensures that the capsule will not degrade and open until the start of the large intestine is reached. The capsule contents are a beige powder.For the relief and management of chronic constipation.Increases the number of bowel movements per day and the number of days on which bowel movements occur in patients with chronic constipation.
