“Lovely looking food that has ingredients that please me and my dog loved it.
HOWEVER! ....huge caveat.....
Turns out my 12 yrs dog can't digest the bone content in this and after 4 days he suddenly became very unwell and ended up in the vet with a significant bill. He's been on raw food for some time but apparently as they age some dogs are no longer able to digest certain foods as well. As a result of my experience, which my dog still hasn't recovered from, I feel quite strongly there should be some notice on the Naturaw website informing people of this possibility. It's not uncommon so it won't be just my dog. I did contact customer service for advice but they stopped responding after a few comments and I figured out the problem myself. I found myself stuck with £40+ worth of food that was useless to me and ended up giving it away. If you have a dog that you know can easily digest bone I'd highly recommend these foods.... especially the forage varieties. If you're unsure, introduce it very slowly and hopefully you'll avoid a very distressed dog and a couple hundred £ vet bill!”
