“A recent change in the quality of this food has made me question staying with this brand. Whilst the packaging change was positive the containers are now much bigger than they need to be and don't fit as well in the freezer. Secondly and I don't understand why, the quality of the food has degraded. This looks like baby mush now having previously been obviously raw with small pieces of bone visible. You would question if this is even the same brand. Disappointing overall”
Hi James, the ingredients, recipes and processes have not changed apart from forming the product into a block for packing which makes it appear more solid. We did have one issue with a batch of lamb & duck that resulted in it being much pastier than usual (since remedied on recent batches) - this must be what you have noticed? as the consistency of everything else hasn't waivered.
The packaging needs to be this size for a few reasons. Mainly, some products can be a lot bulkier due to factors like temperature, moisture content and ingredient make-up - so in order to fit everything across the board and work with our machinery, it needs to be this size.
Hope this clarifies x
