“Plus side is this is a great food not stupidly price and my dogs love it, its a good consistency and the boxes can be recycled. Only downside was in the box only having 4 flavours apart from that no complaints here”
“Food is always top quality can’t fault it.
New packaging, tubs are a lot wider than previous packaging so don’t fit neatly in 4’s as they previously done in freezer. You have to squeeze them in then the lid sometimes bursts open and food leaks when defrosting. Also, you now put a thin bit of paper at bottom of meat. Feel like the problem of the meat sticking to the box in old packaging has now been replaced with meat sticking to the paper. You have the cardboard sleeve that tells you what’s in the box, why don’t you just make that lid shaped and then you have a proper lid on the boxes as before? The non stick lining you have in the new boxes appears to be good but the meat doesn’t really touch it because it’s on the paper.
Appreciate its not easy trying something new and big thumbs up to you guys for doing your best to look after our world. If you guys can do it don’t understand why supermarkets aren’t following suit. Well done”
“I’ve been feeding my dog raw food for seven years and after trying countless suppliers, Naturaw is the best I’ve found by far. Although it works out slightly more expensive then some other brands it’s worth it for the quality of food and packaging. It’s so nice to see a company that obviously cares about their customers and puts so much thought into what they do.”
“The food is great quality and well-presented. Unfortunately the new packaging isn’t so good. We used to give our lab the boxes to lick out but the new boxes have little pieces of paper that we can’t give her so there is more food waste that can’t be eaten by the dog. Other than that, love the biodegradable packets and overall ethos. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into it. Thank you.”
“Though I have been feeding raw for years, I have lately been trying a number of raw food suppliers, as an experiment. To save others a lot of work, Naturaw is definitely in the top 3. It is lovely quality and although my dogs are the main recipients, the cats are invaluable quality control tasters and happily ate every variety received. Some brands they wouldn’t touch. Personally, I would avoid brands including 20% vegetables - when you read the label, the vast majority of this is usually root veg - ie cheap filler. What use is a carrot to a dog, except as fibre, and do you want to pay £4.50 /kg for carrots ? Thought not. I add my own fresh green veg as required. Other brands are minced so finely you can’t gauge what’s in them - possibly the intention. Then there’s packaging, where Naturaw gets 1st place for not using plastic. Some use card but what a mess when defrosting. My only slight negative for Naturaw packaging is that it is not so space- efficient in the freezer, meaning that a lesser weight can be stored - important if you are tight on capacity.”
“Both my pooches....german Shepard cross and cockapoo love this food. If you want the best for your dogs getting their diet right is a huge part of that. Highly recommend.”
