Excellent sharp video. Familiar with Browning so found it easy to use. Naturespy provides helpful instructions invaluable for anyone new to the make. Lighter and smaller than the spec ops model. Really pleased.

The quality of the camera is very good, far best than a cheap trail camera I had bought the year earlier. This camera is much heavier and much better built. Access to the camera controls is easy and great to navigate. I bought rechargeable lithium batteries, again I believe this was a good choice. It took me a few night to capture the images of our visiting hedgehog, with James's guidance we have excellent video of the hedgehog walking around and entering the constructed feeding station. Compared with the cheap camera (AA batteries leaked, so no longer works) the HD video quality is so much better; and although this camera is more expensive, it will give me years of good quality images and video so I am glad I paid more and bought this camera. I'm saving up for another.

First I should say that the help and advice I received on choosing a camera, was second to none. Although I have only tried photo mode so far, I have also been impressed by the ease of set up, the operation, and the step change in quality from my old 8Mp camera.

Easy to set up and image quality is good. Had some nice footage of hedgehogs and a fox in just the first few days of setting up.

I have been using the camera most nights for about 6 weeks and am absolutely delighted with the results and would thoroughly recommend it. Some initial impressions: Brilliant HD videos - extremely sharp and smooth. I've only needed to try standard HD. It gives the impression of being a well made and thought out quality product. It has an excellent intuitive user interface. The screen gives a most useful way of lining up the camera on the target area (essential for capturing small animals, such as the hedgehogs I am primarily recording). I really like the extra power the 12 volt operation gives, and the option for an external power supply. I use a 12 volt lithium power pack. This works perfectly and hardly ever needs charging. No fiddling around changing batteries. I thought initially that the lack of a USB interface would be a drawback. However, taking the memory card to the PC is so easy and reliable I don't think I would ever have used USB. It's very convenient to be able to set a capture start and end time. The service from NatureSpy has been excellent. They responded so well to my queries, with lots of advice when initially nothing was being recorded. If I had any criticism at all it would be that I think the manufacturer manual could be more informative. For instance: A diagram of the detection field to emphasise how you must align the camera based on the size of animals being captured. My initial failures were because I assumed a larger vertical field than is in fact the case. Some guidelines on storage - perhaps just that a 20 second normal HD video occupies 32MB. Guidance on how long settings are retained if all power is removed. (I have not tried any of the still photo features.)

These cameras have proven to be ideal for the type of monitoring work we engage in. Both still and video footage is excellent, and the cameras are proving to be robust and weatherproof. This is especially important for us, as they are being used in riparian conditions in Argyll where we enjoy 2 metres of rain per year!
