Took a little time to get used to the setup but it's a superb camera. Brilliant quality and the solar panel is a godsend.

Very good camera. Picture quality is excellent and solar panel is such a relief. Sound isn’t bad either. Good that you can access the camera remotely via WiFi and Bluetooth. The recommended app does not connect well to the camera and takes a number of attempts. Also, not too keen on the rear tripod mount as it makes the camera unstable. Fix those 2 issues and it would be 5 stars.

Brilliant camera; I got the mini tripod too. It's incredibly high quality; friends commented as soon as they saw the footage (incredible footage of a badger in my garden on the first night!). The app is mediocre though; you can't interact with the videos other than pause/play; you can't rewind or skip or even zoom in, anything that feels natural to do with a video. It was clearly made cheaply due to the weird writing mistakes in there (I don't mind them as such, but it's evidence of the cheapness that lets the quality down).

I am really happy with my new Helarctos trail camera. It has been a pleasure to use so far and given us good clear images and video of Foxes, Badgers, our cats and plenty of birds. The app is a bit basic but it works well enough and is easy enough to use.

I bought this to check out hedgehogs in my garden, and any other wild life that visits. My garden is outside of the range of household WiFi, so I needed a camera that would connect with my phone. I would have loved a camera I could view live feed on, but I think I have bought a much better product. This is a great camera. Easy to set up, I'm not at all techy and had no trouble. I bring my camera in each morning and check out the visitors. Downloading the photos/ video to my phone is a two second job. Very nice solid, waterproof camera. The solar panel has stayed at 100% charged, and while the local cats check it out. None have tried to move it.

We bought the camera and as a Christmas present to ourselves, so it has only been in use for a few days. Looks good and rugged and it was relatively simple to set up and connect to phone. It also has a number of good features and options. It's a bit difficult to comment on performance based on such a short trial; so far all it has captured was a passing cat but we remain hopeful as we there is plenty of of evidence of wildlife visiting the garden!

So far, this has been pretty good. We got this to record our hedgehog visitor, "Tiggy", who has already provided four hoglets for our local environment over the last year. We are hopeful for more views to come, including video. It has been disappointing though, that night-time exposures so far have only been in out-of-focus monochrome. Do you have any suggestions for improving on that?

Hi, thank you for your review. I'm so pleased to hear you are enjoying your camera. The nighttime images/videos should not be out of focus. I'll ask one of our technical advisors to get in touch so we can get this resolved for you!

I’m very happy with my first trail camera (Helarctros), primarily for use in my suburban garden. The quality and ease of set up is very good and I’m enjoying experimenting with the variety of settings to get the sensitivity and light just right. It’s really helpful to be able to connect to the camera from indoors to see what has been recorded on the SD card. The solar charge is working well, even in a shadier spot in the garden. It would have been nice if it could be used with the excellent Nature Spy app which I already use for the bird feeder camera, but I am getting on fine with the basic Wildlife Cam app. We were thrilled to discover in the first week that we have regular fox and badger visitors to the garden - we had no idea!
