Today, about 95% of almost 25 billion pairs of shoes produced every year end up in the world's landfills – a mass of waste that can’t be re-used because these shoes are simply not designed to be fully recyclable. And the greenhouse gases emitted to produce them are through the roof.

We can’t accept that’s just how it’s done. Not anymore.

“Terrible comfort! I had such high hopes for these shoes, but they were a massive letdown. The material is so stiff it digs into the top of my toes with every step. I tried walking them in for three days to no avail. By the time I could take them off on the third day my toes were aching. I've never been so relieved to take off a pair of shoes. I can see myself wearing them to the laundry downstairs or the store across the street, but I don't imagine I will ever wear them going out again. Can NOT recommend them!”
