“I wanted a knife I could take camping with me for cooking out in the woods. I don't camp as much as I would like, so I also wanted this to be used in the kitchen daily. I wondered if it would make an excellent daily kitchen knife and worried that it would only be used a few times a year. I am glad I purchased it because it is instrumental in the kitchen and takes care of more minor duties like cutting fruit and meat. My 11-year-old son often helps me in the kitchen and admires my excellent knives, and he feels very comfortable using this knife when he helps me out. He uses it to dice garlic and onions and also to chop garnishes. The full-size handle makes this an all-around useful knife, and I can't wait to bring it camping.
I appreciate made-in-the-USA products, and it brings a smile to my face every time I pick it up and know that hard-working Americans are the ones that made this from scratch. When it arrived, I saw a minor micro blemish on the handle, and a small micro scratch on the blade as man and not a machine made it. I appreciate the craftsmanship and the expertise put into this knife. I have called them several times to ask questions and advice, and every time, I get a qualified and knowledgeable person on the phone to help me out.
