“The Outfitter has been my “go to knife” for a few years now. However, after recently purchasing the JH Hunter/Forager, and having used it a few times, I may have a new favorite. The full handle fits my hand better, and gives more leverage for cutting heavy items like cantaloupe or meat. The handle is sized and shaped such that it still retains dexterity to slice, dice and peel as well. This knife works well as a very sharp camping knife, and it will be used when elk hunting for field dressing. The Shoshone colors are a nice touch to compliment the knife.”
