“This was my first NWKW product. Use it the most of all my knives. Great for veggies, cheese, herbs. All-purpose workhorse, and looks great. This particular one I bought for a friend whose family owns a restaurant. Because when she saw mine, she said "Where'd you get that?"”
“I have only owned this knife for a short time, but here goes. The customer service was great; the knife shipped the same day I ordered it. In appearance, the knife is as beautiful as its pictures. The blade has an interesting overall satin finish that compliments the Teton Edge detail, which does help with food release. Santoku blades vary in width and curvature by brand; I think NWK got this one exactly right. The knife is lightweight and easy to control, although the grip is somewhat wider than I'm used to and could be an issue if you have smallish hands. The blade is, of course, extremely sharp right now. I haven't used it enough to assess its edge retention or ease of sharpening, though I would not expect there to be any problems with a knife of this quality.”
