“Made in USA is important to me. The blade and handle shape are good, however, cutting edge is really more like 8.5” than 9”. I like the blade geometry and s35vn steel. It came with a decent factory edge; sharp but not like a hand sharpened Japanese blade. The fit and finish should be better for the price. Lots of tool marks on the blade surface. A stonewash or better yet a polish would be appropriate. The handle material is not perfectly flush with the tang. The mosaic pins are cool.”
