“I am really happy with the quality and over all feel of this knife. I haven't gotten a lot of use out of it yet but I am fairly impressed so far with it. I have started carrying this over my MKC Mini Speed goat. My only complaint would be the leather sheeth, I do not like the belt loop of it. I am hoping with more use it will loosen up and become more accomodating.”
“The bird and trout knife is wonderful. The handle suits a three fingered grip well, and is comfortably held in many positions. It is the most comfortable small knife I’ve handled. I worked the edge for awhile and was able to get it significantly sharper than it came. I knocked off a star because the sheath is pretty terrible. It should have a loop towards the top of the handle but instead it is much farther down the sheath so that it rides too high, digs into your side and is pretty much impossible to wear on a belt because of that. I was going to add a dangler loop to it but then I worried the knife would fall out. All this ends up being fine, because I wouldn’t want to use the knife for anything other than processing game to keep its razor sharp edge preserved. I just wish I could carry it around with me on a belt. I just got it a week ago, so it has only been my lunchtime paring knife in the field so far, but by the feel of it and sharpness I have no doubt it will be excellent for breasting out birds or gutting trout.”
