Best BBQ knife I have ever seen. Trimmed a brisket amazingly, very big but it is balanced so well that it gives great control. Even when trimming a brisket, where you are not cutting against a surface. Shows how sharp it is, and how well balanced/easy to control. Would recommend this to anyone looking for the ultimate knife for indoor/outdoor cooking. Also looks bad ass.

Beautiful piece of craftsmanship. An intimidating blade the likes of something you would see from John Rambo or Crocodile Dundee and at the same time very refined and elegant. An absolute show stopper and conversation piece. Back yard BBQ or New Year’s Eve tenderloin.

I own several New West kinves and they are workhorses in my kitchen. The Yellowstone knife is not only a work of art but very functional. I was slicing some tomatos and it seemed like the blade just fell through the tomatos. This knife is going to get a lot of work at my home!

I have been looking for a Bowie shaped blade knife for a while. When I saw this knife It seemed to check enough boxes so I bought it. When I received it I was impressed with the fit and finish as well as the overall quality. I bought it as a collectors item and it is fine for that. If I was intending to use it I would have sent it back. Not a quality issue. The handle is to small for my hand. The pictures make it look bigger than it is. In fact my 5'4" wife found it to be on the samll side. I'm surprised that such a big knife doesn't offer a big handle. Maybe more than one handle size should be an option? I would also point out that this is definatly a kitchen knife in that the blade is thin like a good kitchen knife and not thick like a camping/hunting knife. This is just an observation and not ment in any way to be a criticism.

5 out 5 stars! I got notice that one of my long term costomer and close freind was retiring. I was invited to his retirement party thrown by his emloyer the day before the party. I wanted to get him somthing personal and very special. You folks and Yellowstone Carver were highly recomended. Anthony responded to my request to get it overnighted. He jumped into action and along with yor team made it happen! My freinds response when he opened the gift was shock and aw withe big hug and thank you. He said it was the best gift ever and think of us whenever he uses it. I wish I recorded it. We are in Texas and he smokes briskets and everytig else for his company, charity events etc. Him being impressed is saying something! It gave me great joy to present that beautiful and usefull gift to him. Thank you all for being able to make this happen! I will be back! Phil Maichle.
