“I love the dress, I ordered it for an upcoming spring wedding but event was cancelled to to Pandemic. I ordered a six which is my usual size but returned it because it was too small and ordered a change for a 10 but received and 8 instead. Customer service was ok except for the exchange situation. It still did not fit, but because it has been some months New York Dress says it will not exchange it. I am going to lose my money because I can't wear it now as it is. I would very much appreciate consideration in this case because of special situation. We even had complete lockdown here in Puerto Rico because of COVID and even delivery services were closed for some months. Please reconsider.”
“I LOVE the dress and you cannot beat the pricing. The dress runs very small so order accordingly. I am a size 2 but ordered a 6 because that was the smallest size available (I was going to alter it). It fit beautifully- like it was made for me. I’m 5’7” and I didn’t even need to hem it.”
“The dress was written up as running small and to size up. I purchase almost all my clothes online. I am a size two but went for a 6. My daughter ordered the dress for me for her older sister’s wedding. I work seven days a week as a single mom of three girls. The dress arrived the same week my daughter was in a terrible car accident and hospitalized right before her older sister’s wedding. Four days before the wedding I brought the dress to the tailor. It barely fit and I was running a size two. The tailor said I could wear it but it would be very uncomfortable all night. I placed it back in the box to send back after the wedding. I had no idea of their one week policy. The daughter who’s ordered it was getting out of the hospital finally in time for the wedding. I read about the fee for having to take it back. When I called them to see where I should send it I was told I was stuck with the $400 still wrapped up and boxed dress. I will have Amex try to regain the payment and send it back. There is a reason you do not shipbuilding at places with an unusual return policy. No stars and it almost ruined a momentous time in my family’s life. Go to Saks Off the Rack.”
“I bought this dress like a month ago. design wise I love it. but the fabric is stiff and itchy; it feels very uncomfortable against the skin. When I opened the package there was a strong glue like smell which was very pungent and unpleasant. I hanged the dress in open air to let the smell get diffused. But one month later the smell is still there, less but still there.”
