“I've been looking for a legit home laser that simulates what you see at a well-produced show. Not those cheap LED pattern throwers but an actual, affordable laser. After searching high and low, and reading other reviews, I went for this thing. It's awesome. It's super intense. Do yourself a favor and order a fog machine and juice along with it, if you don't already have one. You must have fog, just like at the shows. Other than that, it's turned on and go. The remote is "ok" - it does the job.”
“This little thing is unbelievable. It's really cool. Flip it on and set it to "sound" and it uses its onboard microphone to play lasers to the music you have playing. It toggles through different shapes and patterns like squares, triangles, straight lines, spirals, etc. Probably not quite as showy or pro as someone skilled with a DMX controller but not bad for a basic autopilot feature. I don't have a DMX controller yet so I can't comment on the functionality of that.
It does make a bit of noise, it's not much but something inside the unit is moving or spinning at high speeds while it's shooting lasers. Not a big deal it just surprised me.
I highly recommend getting a fog machine with it for the full effects. Without fog, you'll just see the final image projected by the lasers. With fog, you will be able to see each of the individual lasers as they are cast from the machine to the projection- which is super cool!!”
“This laser is smaller in size than I expected but it is very bright. You must have Haze/fog. do not buy if you do not have a fog / Haze machine. All you need is a small one nothing crazy. I have had it for three months now and feel that it is of great value. Perfect for mobile DJ and will fill a dance floor. I tried it in a ballroom that was 80 ft. long by 100 ft. wide and with Haze produced solid beams! surprised and happy with this purchase. this is way more impressive compared to the American DJ spinners and beam effects I travel with for years.”
“Very good laser price! I haven't connected it to the dmx controller, so I can't comment on that. Without the music, the animation is a bit tedious and slow, but it's really good with music! The mic is sensitive enough to hear music even if it's not loud. The remote works well, and the controls are easy to figure out.
Negative:
1. Need to cooperate with the fog machine to see the effect better.
