“Bought these for a house party, and let me tell you.. They were fire , lots of patterns and they went with the music. The motors are a little loud but with music on you can’t hear them. Definitely will be buying another pair”
“Let me just begin with the packaging in which this unit came in...it is excellent! It had foam protection, had a plastic bag on it to protect it from moisture and was taped to perfection.
Once you open the box you will see the instructions on top, they come in handy and are quite easy to understand. After you read over those then you will think about all the occasions in which this can be used and the options and features that are built into this unit, which are very impressive to say the least.
There are plenty of options on the back that are easy to control and understand. The Sensitivity knob did great when adjusted so you can really set it in the way that you want to use it, the Power LED was nice and bright when on and plugged in in which the plug was secure and the Mic LED kept flashing blue when the built in mic heard the music to keep patterns to beat to, which it did excellent at. The function setting switches were simple to understand and easy to switch and had quality as well, so I didn't worry to much when switching them if one would break off. Then the DMX/Linking ports were in a nice position as well.
The top of it has two great and secure harnesses so the unit can stay put. Furthermore, they were really easy to adjust and screw down to keep still and in a fixed position.
The front of it has 4 great boxes in which the LED's are in with the special hardware as well to make the shapes and patterns. These don't look cheap at all and seem thick, so I know they will last a long time and not just break after some use.
The bottom of it has 4 nice rubber boots as well, so if being put on a surface it doesn't have a chance of sliding off and stays secure. Plus another added bonus of this is that it allows air flow under it as well so it doesn't get too hot.
Now to the use of it. The built in mic sensor and timer worked like a charm, after the music stopped for 8 seconds the lights turned off and didn't turn back on until the music started back up when I had it on Sound Active mode. Along with that, the Sound Active mode really did keep a beat / pattern to to the music much better than I could imagine. I tried out some rock music and some hip-hop music and to both it did a great job.
After that I tried out the AUTO mode, it did great as well. I left that one on for some time and got to see a lot of different patterns along with a bunch of different graphics and various affects that really did not repeat as there were so many to go through!
I can't wait to use this on so many occasions! I set it up tonight real quick so I could take some videos and pictures of it! It does so great and goes so wide my camera couldn't capture it all but it still looks great and does great! If your looking for a unit to get the job done, then don't look any further, you have found it. Along with that, a great price too!”
