I have not opened this product yet. I live on an island and doing so I know it is best to be prepared. In researching this product seems great value. Will write more when opened and tested/used.

I purchased this 106 serving tub from Nitro-Pak about two weeks ago and posted a review that was never posted. Maybe it was not posted because it was not a positive review and the service that moderates reviews for Nitro-Pak called "YOTPO" only allows positive reviews? I don't know. Anyway, if you think from the advertisements that this container has food sufficient for four adults for one week, it definitely does not. The total caloric count on the bucket is only around 12,000 - which would be enough food for, at most, two days for four adults. The bar graph on the add is deceptive in that it implies it is enough food for four adults for one week - when in fact it is only vaguely referring to "servings." This is about as much food as a No. 10 can of chili that you can pick up at smart and final for about 10$. Yes, it last 30 years and I'm sure it is high quality - but it is very expensive for the actual amount of food you get. There is a reason they do not tell you the actual calorie count of the container up front.

I cannot speak to the quality of the food as I have not tried it. However, I think the marketing material suggesting this bucket is sufficient to feed four adults for one week (or one adult for one month) is deceptive. The marketing material deliberately does not list how many calories this bucket actually contains, which you can only observe once you read the fine print on the outside of the bucket. It only has about 13,000 calories. Obviously if four adults are eating a very paltry 1500 calories each per day for seven days, that would require 42,000 calories worth of food (1500 X 4 X 7). So this bucket really has enough food for four people for approximately two days. If I had known the truth I would not have ordered it because it is too expensive for the number of calories you are receiving.
