Its not really survivable in this bag down to 0 degrees, so be careful. I have purchased two of these and at best its comfortable to about 45 degrees. I have already tried it in 45 degree weather and I woke up several times chilly. The Europeans have developed a rating system called EN13537 that is based on a typical male, typical female, and extreme temp. The extreme temp is the survival rating for a typical woman sleeping for 6 hours and not dying. That is extreme. A lot of bag sellers talk ratings but its all hogwash. The comfort rating for this bag is about 40-45 degrees. My guess is this 0 degree rating for this bag is really the extreme temp (6 hours and maybe you won't die) and not the comfort temp. My $600 Northface rated to -5 is about double the thickness of this bag and its only comfortable good down to about 30 degrees. Comfort is defined by the European rating system as "the temperature at which a standard woman can expect to sleep comfortably in a relaxed position". So do not think this bag will be suitable down to 0 degrees. If you try most likely you will be miserable or possibly dead.
