“I took a pack of beef stew hunting and boiled some water in a canteen cup over a sterno folding stove. It was quick and easy to prepare. The taste was amazing. We had some Ritz crackers that went well with it too. I bought a bunch more recently.

“I bought this and others (100 total)for a scout back packing trip. This and beef stroganoff were the favorites followed by chili cheese and Mac. The last favorite of the 4 was the white bean chicken chili, which was not bad but the biggest complaint on that one was texture and it packed a post consumption punch. Props to Oregon freeze dried for the quality dry foods. Impressive concoctions, not home cooking, but best buy in a bag!”
