Obviously made in a foreign Country. Lots of strange "stuff" woven into the fabric, and a "Contains No DDT" label. But appears to be Full Size and probably very warm, which is what a Blanket is really all about.

At $5, this 30% wool non-woven blanket is a GREAT deal but it's not worth a lot more than that. It's obviously made from recycled fabric fibers pressed together. There's some shedding and the blanket can't take much abrasion. It shouldn't have a problem lasting for a few weeks in a shelter situation--it's intended use. I rolled the blanket and vacuum sealed it so that's it's roughly 6" x 3" x 22". I put two in each of our vehicles for winter emergencies. The rolled blanket is hard to get into an 11" wide Foodsaver roll. The easiest way I found is using a velcro cinch strap from a sleeping bag. - tightly roll the blanket - tightly cinch in the middle with the velcro strap - tightly tie a piece of string next to the cinch strap, then remove the strap Repeat at 2 to 3" intervals getting as close to both ends as you can. If you did a good job of cinching, the roll will easily slide into an 11" Foodsaver roll. (To check on your work without wasting a yard-long piece of plastic, cut a 2" strip off an 11" Foodsaver roll and then try to slide it over the blanket. You'll find the bulges that need tied down some more.) It takes the Foodsaver machine several minutes to suck out the air from such a large package and has the potential for overheating or damaging your machine. As the plastic started to tighten around the vacuum, I pressed down on the roll to flatten it so it would store with less wasted space. I tried a Foodsaver 11" pleated roll, but my machine couldn't remove that much air and shut down from overheating.
