Zali - Snowboard & Ski Pants Maroon / Short/Regular / AU20/US16 Reviews

I’ve always been athletic but as years and injuries wore on, I’m still athletic but I firmly wear an hourglass shape bolstered by muscle. I’m in my mid-30s - I do my best. Long torso, small waist, big hips and butt and powerful thighs, with short legs. Finding pants, let alone sports or winter pants, are a nightmare if not impossible. I’ve long ranted about the fashion and outdoors industry woefully neglecting those of us not straight-sized, and without a ‘fat tax’. Options are limited and often expensive and ill-fitting. It’s no wonder non-straight sized folks aren’t seen being active in cold weather - no clothing fits us properly and if it marginally sorta does it costs far more. But it still never fits properly. Enter Nobody’s Princess. I was a Kickstarter backer in Canada. Two things drew me to this - there was an option other than black and there were more than one way to adjust the waistband accounting for the many varied shapes of a human body. Sign me up. It was a long wait to get them, but holy moly worth the wait. How much am I allowed to gush? The raspberry colour is beautiful, and there are a million (minus a few hundred) pockets for functionality. I wear a size 16 US in jeans from Torrid. I bought a 16 US size for these pants based on my measurements and the size chart and accounting for the allowance the adjustments make. They’re perfect. I spent a solid 5 minutes bending, squatting, lunging and jumping around my apartment. I didn’t make one adjustment. I didn’t have to pull them up. I just kept moving. As my fiancé said to me: ‘I’ve never seen you happier or more excited with a purchase let alone a pair of pants’. He’s not wrong. Thank you, Maria and team, from the bottom of my heart for seeing this need. You’ve quite literally changed the game in snow pants, and I hope you continue and expand the sizes even more with your success to include even more people. I hope the rest of the world takes note.
