My boyfriend and I are very different sleepers with very different preferences, and this checks them all. He prefers rock solid and I like medium softness. The Nolah firm had both a firm structure but the pillow top gave it some much needed plushness. We are so thankful we took the leap of faith to try this mattress! “This mattress we bought is made for heavier people. No aches or pains when you wake up. The best part, no waking up in a puddle of sweat. Weve only had the mattress for a short time, but what a difference in mattresses. We bought a $3500.00 mattress a year ago. The best the store had to offer. (So they say). It was after the first 6 months we discovered we owned a canoe for a mattress. The hump in the middle was like the DMZ line, keeping my wife and I separated.
Buying online was very easy, and no pressure. It gave us a lot of resources to research. Best reviews, how the item is built, which item is best for your body size, and of course best price. We found the chat line very informative. We also discovered that laying on a mattress in the stores, can be quite deceiving. The stores seems to carry items that they can get the best returns($$$) on, and not for the best interest of the customers.”
“I loved my Nolah Evolution 15. Unfortunately, my wife did not - she insisted on an all foam, non-hybrid mattress. With great reluctance I returned the mattress. Guess what? Nolah made the process very painless. They were quick to respond, extremely courteous and lightening fast on the refund once the mattress was picked up. I cant say enough about the way they treat customers and stand behind their product and promises. I highly recommend doing business with them - again, I loved the mattress and wished I didnt have to return it.”
“On the plus side, the mattress appears to be well made and of good quality materials. I mostly sleep on my side and have had no issues with back pain in the morning as I sometimes get on other mattresses. I occasionally sleep on my back, and this is very comfortable for that too.
It arrived in good condition and did not have much odor. What there was dissipated in a couple of days.
In terms of what could be improved, I feel it could use better edge support, as there is a definite slope at the edges, making the last few inches of the mattress not suitable for sleeping. The instructions for unpacking it could also be improved, as the king size is folded over and does not match up with the directions. It "inflates" quite fast and gives little chance to manoeuver it into position once that process starts.
It is not as cool as I would like.
It sleeps hotter than my old coil mattress, though it is definitely better than other foam mattresses or toppers that I have used, so the cooling technology sort of works.
Overall I like the mattress and will likely keep it.”
