“This mattress was definitely what I needed... But it didn't seem that way right out the gate. I initially bought it because it was rated the best mattress for side sleepers in 2021 per a review I read online. It took a little adjusting as my previous mattress was a Sypedic w/ pillow top. My old mattress was too soft and I went looking for a new one because I was tired of waking up so many mornings with a painful, stiff neck and it actually affected my ability to turn my head fully to one side or another sometimes. I purchased a queen size Nolah mattress and was surprised that they were able to compress it so small to fit in the box it came in. When it fully expands, it's quite a thick mattress. I had some difficulty at first getting to sleep because I had been sleeping on the softer mattress for 10 years and initially on the Nolah, my arms would tingle after a bit and I'd have to flip to the other side (changing sides frequently throughout the night). After about 2 weeks, my body adjusted to the firmness and I can now quickly fall asleep on my side and most mornings I wake up lying on my back. I just needed a little time to adjust to it. I definitely sleep well on this mattress now and have no difficulty whatsoever staying asleep - I would typically wake up 2 to 4 times a night on my old mattress. Most importantly, I don't wake up with the stiff neck anymore. I did not go to a doctor or chiropractor for my neck... Didn't need to, this mattress took care of the problem for me. I am very pleased with this mattress and it is very well made. Not sure what to do with all of the cool stickers they gave me though.”
