“I've waited about 8 weeks to write my review so that I could provide a knowledgeable critique. I like the mattress, but I'm not sure it's the correct firmness I need for my back (time will tell). Although I am having a good night's sleep, I'm used to a very firm mattress. This is the first time I purchased a mattress without trying it out first in a showroom and I probably should have done that in hindsight. I read the Consumer Reports reviews and since I'm a side sleeper (mostly), it was recommended that I purchase the Nolah Evolution 15 mattress (6-7 on the firmness scale) rather than a firmer mattress (8 or higher). So far, I have no complaints as I'm getting used to the comfiness of this mattress. I love the bamboo sheets! They feel close to satin and are very comfortable. The squishy pillows also provide a perfect head rest. I did have some issues with shipping that I had to work out between Nolah and FedEx that took several phone calls. The Nolah representatives were always friendly and helpful. The only other concern I have for people my age (65) getting this mattress is that it is quite heavy and bulky for one person. I'm fairly fit for my age, but it took some maneuvering to get the mattress in place by myself. Also, the mattress is about 16 inches in height so getting the fitted sheets on the mattress has proven to be a slight challenge and I am concerned on completing this process 7-10 years from now. However, for the time being, I'm satisfied with the purchase. If prior to the 100 days I feel the mattress is not right for me, I can contact Nolah on a replacement which was another selling point for me.”
“I've been a bonafide Tempurpedic bed sleeper for over 20 years now, and didn't think it could get better...but it seems I was wrong.
We've had our Nolah Evolution for about 2 months now and we still don't know what to think of it. It couldn't be more comfortable and for someone like me (fractured vertebrate, lots of back pain and resulting hip, leg, body discomfort) that says a lot.
Because there was a great 120 day trial policy, and the reviews that my partner and I read, we decided to go for the complete opposite of what we had. The Nolah has not disappointed. It is soft, yet firm...kinda like being hugged all over, without any of the heat. We are both sleeping better and when I wake up in the AM, I hit snooze at least a few times because I just want to stay in bed. I live for the weekends when I don't have to wake at 6 AM! I've woken up on my back, my side, even my stomach which is my secret favorite position but worst for my back, and I have less pain overall. I am not restlessly moving, I still turn a lot, but I don't feel it.
Overall, I'd give the Nolah Evolution a 9 out of 10. The only reason one point is off is because the sides are quite soft so if you're not ready for it and roll towards the edge of the bed, you could potentially fall off. I haven't had it happen, and I tend to sleep towards the middle more, but there is a real possibility for it.”

No matter how I configure my 195lb frame, this bad boy accommodates consistently and comfortably. Wife is coming around but shes a tough critic. But you knew that since you know me.”

“My wife and I had become far too picky about our new mattress. I hate to admit it, because it feels wasteful, but we did a handful of sleep trials with other mattresses. They were always either too firm or too soft. We were looking for something that had an Aireloom Mattress feel...where it's very soft feeling, but actually very supportive. We even returned an Airloom because the foam sagged very quickly. This mattress feels like a quality mattress. It is on the firm side...but it has just the right amount of give to still be comfortable. We're a few weeks in and have zero complaints!”
