“I upgraded from a twin Nolah to this full size Nolah Natural 11. I also purchased the cooling mattress cover because I am in Arizona and it never cools off in the Valley of the Sun! I have slept so well since I got the larger bed and cooling mattress. I usually make it the whole night without waking now! The mattress does give when you get in to it more than a hybrid or spring mattress will, but it does not sag or have valleys where you sit or used to be. I am a petite 60 plus year old woman, and I am pretty fit. I am happy to report my joint pain is much better and my computer neck and sciatica are now minimal. I excercise too, however, I credit the mattress for part of this improvement. This is my second Nolah and I love it!”
“wanted to give this 5 stars, except for the smell. being a combination sleeper (mostly side sleeper), wanted something that would be soft enough on my side but firm enough when I lay on my back. this bed works for that, although it could use another inch of padding on the top. However, the smell when I first unpacked it was so strong, I had to have a air purifier running constantly and had to stay out of the room for a couple weeks, I could smell it just walking down the hall. Even after that time, I could not lay on the bed without using a mattress pad to block the smell. That lasted for a long time.”
“At this point, I would rate 4.5 stars if I could; overall very good.
Experienced a little bit of a shock with the delivery. I live in a secured building in downtown Portland and I missed the front entry callbox call from the delivery driver. When I saw the missed call soon after I figured it was for the mattress and thankfully I was at home and able to head down to pick it up. The shock was in finding the delivery driver had left the box outside. All the delivery services have access to the building and usually leave packages just in the secured lobby or by the mailboxes.
There was a smell (off-gassing) that lasted for a little while (a week or so?) but has since dissipated.
A little disappointed with the edge support. Not a problem when sleeping by myself, which at this point will be most of the time, but if I do share the bed with someone, that may become more of an issue.
I usually prefer mattresses on the firmer side and I find this to be slightly plusher/softer than my preference. That said it's been very comfortable and I've been sleeping *very* well. Who knows, as a side-sleeper this amount of give may even be better for me and I'll find my preference will adjust with my experience of this mattress over time.
So far, minor quibbles aside, sleep being the most important factor, very happy overall.”
“So I've had my Nolah 11 mattress for approximately 3 months now and I can say it's the Best Mattress I've ever had. I read a lot about them and read all the reviews and I was somewhat concerned when they showed it would be wrapped up in a roll to be shipped to me.. After seeing all the support coils I was wondering what kind of condition they would be in.. I received my mattress in approximately 3 weeks and once I opened it and it just filled itself up I was really surprised at how comfortable it felt.. 4 hours later I laid down and didn't want to get up but it was only 6: pm...I've had nothing but the best sleep since.. I'm 69 yrs. old and my wife is 71 and we love this mattress so much...This is my 4th mattress in 10 years and I'm confident I can say that it will be my last...Thank You Nolah”

“I retired this year and promised myself that I would get a bed for retirement that made me happy. I have back and joint problems. The bed needed to address those issues, and it needed to "breathe" and stay cool. I detest memory foam. I did not want any kind of off-gassing from artificial materials to aggravate allergies. “This is a high quality mattress... very comfortable! The one drawback I've identified is its weight. At 90+ pounds (full size), I find it's more difficult to lift when putting on fresh sheets.”
