“I have had this mattress for almost a year and a half. One of my main concerns in purchasing a foam mattress was coolness. I have had memory foam mattresses that were way too hot. This mattress is not hot. We keep the house pretty warm in summer, and this mattress never made me sweat.
I do wish it were softer, however. I wish the top layer of "comfort foam" were thicker. I have been a side sleeper for most of my life, but this mattress is uncomfortable for me on my side. Pressure on my shoulders and hipbones. I started sleeping on my back when I got it, and it is comfortable for back sleeping. So now I fall asleep on my back, and that is working. I just wish it were softer, so side sleeping would also be an option.
The mattress did have a strong smell at first. I left it out in a spare bedroom for more than a month with no bedding on it for the gases to dissipate. It still had a faint odor for another month or so after that, but I started using it anyway.
So far, it hasn't developed a depression in it, which is another problem I've had with previous mattresses.”
