“I am over 300 lbs. and the Nolah mattress supports my weight so it seems I am laying on a cloud. When I saw that the mattress was made out of foam, I was afraid I was going to have to send it back. I agreed to a 30 day try out. It only took one night too love it.”
“First of all, the shopping experience has been excellent. purchasing was very simple and I received emails tracking the progress of the the shipment. I think it took about a week to a week and a half to receive the mattress. The off-gassing was a little strong when I first removed the mattress from the packaging but it was gone by the next day and I could sleep on it. I will say this is an excellent mattress for stomach and back sleepers, but I am a side sleeper and the transition has been difficult. The first few days were terrible and I barely got any sleep. I have now had the mattress for two weeks and I have definitely broken it in a bit more and it is now more comfortable, but I still feel pressure on my shoulders. I am a 120 lb female so I don't put a lot of weight on the mattress so mattresses tend to be firmer for me than most and I usually need a soft mattress for this reason. I plan to maximize my trial period for as long as the mattress keeps getting more comfortable, but if in the next few weeks it feels the same, I will unfortunately have to return it. I would say that if you're a side sleeper looking for a medium mattress and weigh at least 30 lbs more than me, this would be the bed for you, but if you are on the lighter side, you may need a softer mattress. I will update this review if I find that the mattress breaks in a bit more for me. I still haven't completed the 30 break in period so I'm very hopeful magic happens and I can keep this mattress from a great company! The shoulder pain may also be coming from the fact that I need a new pillow so I will also be trying that out and see what happens.”
“I was like a fish flopping around on our old spring mattress. Switching positions with a *** left shoulder left me with searing pain every night. Of course the pain led to difficulty relaxing so I could get back to sleep. In comes my Nolah, and I can't believe the difference! Now I can change positions without my shoulder being on fire. I'm not achy when I get up in the morning because this mattress really does support my pressure points. I'm convinced I fall asleep faster, and have noticed that I've been vividly dreaming almost every night since sleeping on it. I'm surely more rested, my dilemma is getting out of bed in the morning!
