“For various reasons, I needed to change from a thick, cushy, conventional mattress to a foam mattress. I am not a fan of foam mattresses. I do not like how you sink into them. I researched and researched until I found the firmest one that I could afford that is 10 thick or less. I settled finally on this one and I do not regret it. It is not the sameI dont think a foam mattress could ever feel the same as a conventional mattress, though maybe a top-of-the-line one comes close?but I am sleeping just fine and when I lie down on it, I dont feel like Im resting in a gooey pile of marshmallow, which is what Ive experienced on foam mattresses before. In short, if youre reluctant because of the tar-pit factor of most foam mattresses, you might not need to be with this one.”

We slept well from the first night, but as the memory foam figured us out, we started sleeping better and better. I sleep mostly on my stomach. My husband sleeps mostly on his side. We both noticed less pain and stiffness in our backs and hips. My husband also noticed less stiffness in his shoulders. Hey, we're not young anymore.
We especially like the cooling layer. I've slept on several types of beds, including Sleep Number, and the Nolah is up there with the best. We have an XL Goldendoodle and he took possession of our Nolah as soon as we put sheets on it. He's on it more than we are, I think.
