I also received a personalized call from a customer service rep after my purchase to ensure that I didnt have any questions which was different from other brands. In terms of the actual sleep, I find myself falling asleep quickly and not hearing when my partner gets into bed. Additionally, my partner and I have different mattress preferences; he enjoys a very firm mattress and I enjoy a very plush mattress that you can sink into. “I am very satisfied with my Nolah mattress purchase. While it is one of many memory foam mattresses on the market, and TBH I was leaning towards some other brands when I was shopping for a new one to replace my 20-year-old Tempur Pedic; there was one thing that made me opt for this mattress.
It was the fact that of all the top ten mattresses rated for 2021, Nolah was the only one I could find that still offered white glove setup and removal of your old mattress. All the other mattress companies had stopped the practice due to COVID-19. That coupled with the unadvertised discount offered to me by the customer service representative I spoke to on the phone which brought the total (including setup and old mattress removal) under $1000.
And as for the quality of sleep, it is so much better! I'm waking up less in the middle of the night and my weight feels more evenly distributed. While mattress shopping in this era can be much more complicated since it's harder now to try them out in person and much of the shopping has to be done online (and let's face it, even with a generous return policy, it's still a hassle to return a mattress if it doesn't work out and try another one); I'm glad to say I think I picked a winner on my first go and I'd definitely recommend Nolah!”
“I spent a lot of time trying to find the right mattress for me and am very glad I chose Nolah. I tend to sleep on both my stomach and my side so I was a little nervous about whether I'd get enough hip support with this mattress but after more than a full month sleeping on it, I can say it's definitely not an issue for me, as a smaller person. I do tend to sleep really hot so I was worried about moving to a full foam mattress. My previous mattress was a coil spring with a foam topper and it would frequently be so warm I had a difficult time falling asleep. Admittedly at the time of writing this review I have only slept on this mattress in winter, but so far so good and I think the level of breathability is very close to a traditional spring mattress; definitely far better than the average foam. The last feature that I was really looking for was a reduction in motion transfer. I have two very large cats who like to jump on and off my bed throughout the night. Despite them both weighing at least 15 lbs, I do not notices my visitors until they get within two to three inches of where I am laying. Nolah has definitely met all of my needs with this mattress and done so at a good price with a nice contribution to a charity I definitely support as well. If you're a hot sleeper looking for the motion transfer cancellation benefits of foam, Nolah is a great option.”
