“It's been three weeks and each morning I wake up feeling a little better than the day before.
I injured both my rotator cuffs and shoulders and arms from sleeping on too hard of a mattress. First the shoulder and arm of my primary sleeping side began to have problems. When I switched sleeping sides and my other arm began to have the same problems I knew it was my mattress. Since it was quarantine, we couldn't go out and search for mattresses in person. After some diligent research I decided to try Nolah, because of the wonderful 120 day return policy. Everything arrived quickly and on time. My one feedback is that Nolah should really provide pillow casings for the free shredded foam pilllow they include. There is no way to wash that pillow without taking all the foam bits out of the bag, and that's one big messy mess.”

“We like this mattress so much we ordered a second one for our condo in Florida. Its soft enough but you dont become entrapped by it like you do memory foam. And its firm enough to keep your body aligned properly. We tried a Purple first because we had friends that liked it but it didnt work for us. We both developed shoulder pain and our hands would fall asleep. I will say it did do a very good job of lower body support but the shoulder thing just made it not work for us.”

Ultimately I chose the Nolah because they seemed to cater to side sleepers that like a firmer mattress, which is exactly what I was looking for. I also needed a thinner mattress because I have a unique, very low to the ground bed frame . Lastly, I also wanted a bed in the box because I live in a 5th floor apartment with no elevator.
