“I'm not much of a review guy but sometimes, they are necessary. Look, part of the reason I'm not a big review guy is because I'm lazy. You know what's awesome for being lazy? A bed. You know what my favorite mattress is for being lazy? Nolah. This is seriously the best mattress I have ever owned and I have recently been trying out different mattresses from different companies. I had tried a few that were lack luster and returned them so decided to try out something a bit different and get the Purple mattress. I had high hopes but after a few weeks, realized that it wasn't for me. So I went back to the drawing board, did some more research, and ordered a Nolah. Immediately fell into bed and fell into love. A great night of sleep can seriously make up for a terrible day and Nolah helps me get fully rested every single night. I sleep in several different positions at times and often sleep both with a partner and alone. Nolah fits the bill for every position and situation. “I love my mattress- I did a lot of comparison shopping to see who had the best deals and the best customer reviews, especially for side sleepers and Nolah won. I'm so glad I ended up going with them. The bed was shipped very quickly even amid covid and holiday shipping delays. We got it, unrolled it and it puffed right up. There was a bit of a chemical smell that lingered, but it's gone away now and using a diffuser with essential oil at night helped a lot. (I recommend Grove Collaborative's "Sleep" blend). Anyway, I always toss and turn and since I've gotten this mattress I've noticed I hardly move at all at night. My usual sleep routine was to start on my back with my feet up on a pillow and then I'd turn onto my side within 15-20 minutes, but now I stay on my back and my body is loving it. I sink into it (but not too much) and stay put for a restful night sleep. I'm waking up less and feel more rested. My friend slept on it a few nights and said it felt like he'd been stretching all night and was standing taller when he woke up. I was worried about the foam being too firm or too conforming to my shape, but that has not been an issue at all.”
“Through the end of last 2020 it was not unusual for me to wake up with back pain. Low back, upper back, neck. You name it, I felt it. I decided that since changes of pillow weren't working, I'd try a new bed. I did tons of research on the bed-in-a-box options, since I didn't want to go to a mattress store and roll around on a mattress during a pandemic. I found a really great review article from NY Magazine and Nolah was one of the options. After talking with the S/O, we purchased the Nolah Original 10. Oh my god. The first morning after I slept on it, I had no back pain at all. My husband doesn't wake me up as much when he gets to bed and I'm fairly certain that I don't wake him up when I change position. It's been amazing! It was kind of a bugger to get upstairs to the room, but I had opted not to get their white glove service (pandemic). Totally worth it.”
