I'm a side sleeper and wanted a mattress with some give for hips and shoulder. And I wanted a mattress that sleeps cool. I'm very happy with my purchase. It was easy to buy the Nolah mattress online. And setting it up was not hard either. My experience was that it took about two days for it to fully "inflate" once out of the plastic wrapper. I now awaken in the morning without aches or numbness. And while I'm a youthful and fit 60 YO guy, I do have some issues with joint and back pain from injuries and arthritis. I really love this mattress and am glad I did the research and chose Nolah's product.”
“I feel like I sink in and get that stuck feeling. It's not exactly too soft but definitely feels too sinky and over the 2 months that Ive had it, it seems be squishing down more. Its not comfortable for me so Im returning it. I tend to sleep warm and I was hoping that this would help with that. I dont think it sleeps hot but I dont find that it sleeps cool either. I would say its pretty temperature neutral. That said, shipping was quick and easy. Had a bit of a smell initially but that dissipated quickly. Mattress measurements were true to size. Cover seems well made. About me: 5-5, 120lbs. Aways sleep on my back. Like a mattress thats a littler firm but not too firm.”

“Our new Nolah has been absolutely great. I had a *** hip that has totally improved in the 3 weeks we've used the mattress. It had me wondering if I wasn't going to have to have hip surgery. Now I'm running a 4 minute mile (figuratively of course). Great set up, but to tell you the truth it inflated too quickly, because I wanted to watch the fun, and unfortunately turned around for a second, and when I turned back to ostensibly watch it expand, it had already blown up (figuratively of course). “No exaggeration- this mattress has done wonders for my sleep with direct impacts to my awake life. I'm 6'2" 190lbs, side and back sleeper with a L4/L5 disk herniation injury I sustained earlier this year. I was sleeping on a good quality (but aging) spring mattress that was time to replace, and I also felt that perhaps a memory foam mattress would improve my sleep by allowing me to maintain positions that relieve the herniation pain. Shopped a lot of mattresses both on line and in-store and decided to try Nolah due to the combination of features, the Certi-pure certification and the fact that it sounded like it seemed to address all the issues I read about with other mattresses. Man, am I glad I went with this mattress. I literally experienced almost instant pain relief after one night on the Nolah, and the relief has continued and gotten progressively better over the last month that I've been sleeping on my Nolah. Another interesting situation- because of my injury I was largely limited to sleeping on my side, but with the spring mattress I would wake throughout the night with pain on my hip bones and shoulders. No pain at all with Nolah. I wake up much less often during the night and never feel sore. I am also now able to sleep on my back with complete comfort. The contouring effect provides the right amount of support to my back. With my spring mattress, I had to sleep with a pillow under my thighs to rotate my hips to prevent my back from being stiff. WIth Nolah, I never wake up feeling stiff. The only problem I have is that I sleep so soundly with absolutely no tossing or turning that now my Tempurpedic pillow needs to be replaced- it's too firm to sleep in the same position without eventual discomfort on my head. I look forward to buying a Nolah pillow when they make it (Jedi mind trick) that will make my sleep experience complete. Oh, BTW, perfect shopping experience, amazing deal and was sleeping on the mattress in less than a week.”
“I lovey Nolah! No more dead arm, as I am a side sleeper. This bed sleeps so cool compared to my old memory foam topper. I fall asleep faster, and I stay asleep longer. Incredible value. Recovers quickly. I do not sink down into it, but it is soft but supportive. I love my bed! The best part was the service. I had some questions that was answered on a weekend evening by one of the owners. It was a quick shipping process and made new just for me! I cannot recommend this bed enough!”
“Easy ordering, fast shipping and the mattress is pretty freakin' fantastic!! I'm a side, stomach and back sleeper and this mattress works for me in any of those positions. I looked at other mattresses with similar claims and reviews however, Nolah impressed me in more wys than just being a mattress. One thing you'll notice is the adoption of an animal and that a portion of my purchase goes to the animal I chose to adopt. Secondly, the company originated in Colorado which happens to be my favorite state, ever. I lived there for 17 years and understand the environmental consciousness of this wonderful state. Lastly, the return process if I'm not happy with my choice. Not only do they give you 120 nights to try it out, if you do choose to return it, they donate it to charity or to a mattress recycling program. By the way, the mattress isn't going back.
