“After doing A LOT of research on mattresses, I ultimately decided on the Nolah Original 10. I'm a 5'9", 145-pound side sleeper, and this particular mattress was on several "Best Foam Mattresses for Side Sleepers" lists. The ordering process was super simple, and I had my mattress about 3 days after I ordered.
I ordered a king size mattress, and it was heavy. I was able to move it to my bed and unwrap it myself, but you really should have a second person help you with this process. It immediately puffed up to about 9.5 inches and had little to no noticeable smell (which is a complaint with lots of foam mattresses). I slept on it the first night I got it and had a good night's rest.
This mattress is fairly firm - I don't sink down into it. I feel like I'm lying on the mattress rather than lying in the mattress which is what I wanted. It has pretty solid edge support, and I don't feel like I'm going to roll off the side when I'm near the edge (another typical complaint for foam mattresses).
For the first couple of weeks, I enjoyed my mattress but honestly wasn't overly impressed. But then I went on vacation and HOLY COW can I tell the difference between my Nolah mattress and a traditional inner-spring mattress!! My shoulders, hips, and knees ached on vacation like they did when I slept on my old inner-spring mattress. I had kind of forgotten how uncomfortable it was to sleep on, but had the reminder last week. I kept thinking to myself that I couldn't wait to get home to sleep on this amazing mattress!

“Shopping was easy. Purchased about 2 months ago. Added Mattress cover and pillow took another month after the mattress to arrive. Not a big deal as they were free at the time of purchase but I honestly forgot about them. Bed is firm and supportive but soft enough to be a side sleeper. We got a king and we both sleep towards our own side. Feels like the middle is already less broken in when rolling that way. I expect if we sleep towards the middle it will break in as well. Nothing spectacular but will work for sure.”
