“Had the mattress for about 2 weeks so far and still enjoying it. It does sleep warmer that a regular mattress but is cooler than plain memory foam. Less back pain when waking up in the morning and love that it doesn't transfer movement. The firmness is nice, could stand for it to be just a bit softer but don't mind it how it is. The shipping took longer than expected which is frustrating when you're excited for it to arrive. I actually emailed to cancel my order and was going to purchase one with guaranteed delivery instead when it hadn't even shipped a week after ordering. Customer service responded and offered to "expedite" it so it would arrive in the next 3 days. It was packed well and unboxing was easy and there was no smell at all.”
“This is the third online mattress, prior two (one a hybrid and one a foam) were both generally rated a 6 but too firm to side sleep on. The Nolah is definitely a better side sleeper. My wife, 145 pounds loves it. I loved it initially but feel like I might sink a little bit (220 lbs). Its a thinner mattress than we have ever had, so strange to get in and out of bed on something that isn't 13 or 14 inches. Not as good a bed for marital relations as the other two mattresses we tried. Only been about two weeks so seeing how it goes after a month.”
“My husband and I had been sleeping on a 6 year old mattress, and waking up every morning with aches and pains. After doing a lot of research online, we decided to go with Nolah because it was reviewed as a great mattress for side sleepers and heavier people. Which was the best decision. The website was easy to use, and ordering was just as easy. It took my body 3 nights to really start adjusting to the mattress (probably because our old mattress was so terrible). We are now 4 weeks in, and I can honestly say neither of us wake up with any aches and pains. I love how straight my back feels even when laying on my side. The only "con" I have (which isn't really a con to me but is for my husband) is that the mattress does make you feel a little warmer than a standard spring mattress, but I like that part, as I'm usually very cold. I was concerned about how the mattress would stand up to adult time, and I must say, it is way better than I expected, so much more comfortable for both of us than a regular mattress. Originally, I thought there was no way I would buy a bed sight unseen, but I did so anyway because to be honest, the return process would have been easier than our local furniture store. “I bought the Nolah bed specifically because I am a side sleeper and a larger person. The reviews and comments indicated this would be a good choice for my needs. My fear was sleeping hot on a foam mattress due to our previous experience with a Tempurpedic mattress. The Nolah mattress arrived on time and was a snap to set up (did it myself). We are about 3 or 4 weeks in so far and I have to say the mattress sleeps cooler than our old innerspring mattress. My husband even agreed the mattress works for us, and he is definitely an "anti foam" guy. I am still getting use t the "stuck" feeling of a foam mattress, but I really only notice it when I am sitting on the edge of the bed, and it really isn't that bad. I am getting a wool filled mattress pad to add to the mattress set up, simply because I like that extra layer of "cush" on the bed.”
