“So far so good! I bought the Nolah mattress after I returned a more expensive memory foam mattress manufactured by another company. With this other mattress, I was waking up with lower back pain that I never had before and, despite having a "cooling gel layer" on top, I was waking up sweaty. With the Nolah, I sleep cool throughout the night. The top layer does seem to breathe a lot better and allow for more airflow. I no longer wake up with lower back pain. The mattress is very comfortable and noticeably softer than the mattress I was replacing, which is great because I sleep primarily on my side. It took a couple of days for the mattress to get to it's true firmness level. This was due to the unpacking process. My wife originally felt that the mattress was a little too soft for her, but after it firmed up, she said it felt like the perfect level of firmness. The only thing that could be better is the edge support, but this is a common complaint about memory foam mattresses in general. The price was very reasonable for a king size mattress, making Nolah arguably the best value I came across during my search. Good warranty too. The animal adoption was the icing on the cake. Really a nice touch, and I appreciated it. At this point, I highly recommend this mattress. The combination of quality, value, and the bonus animal adoption gives me the impression that this is a good company, and I feel good supporting them.”
