“I am a 6' 1'' 190 pound male that sleeps next to a 5' 6'' 120 pound female. We replaced our Zinus Memory foam Mattress bed with the Signature Mattress, and are happy with it. We tried both the soft and firm side, a week each side, and ended up preferring the soft side. It forms to the body and feels very good. We use a 100% cotton sheet on the bed and can feel the bed's padding through it, and that is a good thing.
The main reason we bought this bed, was our old one was too hot. We were both sweating. After reading tons of reviews of tons of different beds, we chose Nolah to "fix" that issue. I understand that no bed will be cold without an outside help, but this bed is cooler than our old bed, and we haven't woken up hot or sweaty. Is all the heat gone? No. But there is a difference.
If you are wondering how it holds up to intimate/romantic encounters, it works for our needs. It's not a spring mattress, so there is not a lot of bounce back. But you will be very comfortable while in the moment. Also, there is not a lot of side wall support on the mattress itself, be prepared for any positions involving the side of the bed to be a bit lower, depending on weight.
Overall, we are happy with the bed. We do sleep better, and cooler. Neither one of us hears the other get in/out of bed. I am curious to see how cool I can get the bed, by removing the sheet and/or the mattress cover.”
