Nolah Signature 12 - Queen Reviews

4.8 Rating 196 Reviews
My wife's old mattress was worn out and sagging on one side. She is a side sleeper, and has had problems with her arms and legs going to sleep on her. She has carpal tunnel and is diabetic. From the first night, she was waking up the next morning without her arms and legs feeling numb, and then having to go through the itchy sensation of having her feeling return. Although she is a side sleeper, she also finds the Nolah to be comfortable when lying on her back. The only issue is that she is only 4' 11" tall. Because she is also heavy, I purchased the 14" mattress. I had to put a step stool at bedside so she can climb into and out of bed. I had placed the Nolah on her old box springs. I have purchased a mattress box that is only 5" high to replace the box springs so she can get in and out of bed more easily.

I am a 40 year floor installer so I hurt from time to time. I thought it was the job hurting me so much but turns out it was worn pillow top mattress doing more damage. I used to roll outta bed and have to stretch immediately but now I sleep a little extra while feeling more rejuvenated in the mornings. Just gotta watch my REM cycle more closely as I do not want to get out of bed anymore. Thank you very much for producing a fantastic sleeping surface!

Showed up timely and feels soft. We put it in our Rv and have not slept on it yet. Maybe in a few weeks.

I have had my mattress for about a month and with one exception it is living up to all the reviews and promises. It is a medium firmness level and is very comfortable! The only thing is unfortunately I still wake up in the middle of the night hot. So either the cooling feature is not as good as Id hoped or its because I live in Southern California and Im never really that cold. It is why I wanted a cooling mattress however so Im still undecided about the mattress. It has only been a month since I purchased.

I started off with another bed in a box company when my memory foam mattress became more hindrance than help. The other mattress was horribly painful, though the company itself was very helpful. So I got a refund and found Nolah was recommended for side sleepers so I decided to try. My adaptation period was only a few days. I don't have to turn over 25 times a night and often wake up in the same position I started in. I do have to put some effort into first getting up because I've sunk in, comfortably, but enough that it I can't just bounce out of it. It is thick foam, after all, so not a surprise, and no different from my previous foam mattress. I just don't wake up with horrible back pain anymore, and can even sleep on my stomach for short periods of time when I want. It's only been two months, but I'm very happy so far.

This mattress is indeed great for side sleepers, And while there are qualities that I do like about it such as cooling effect, pressure points, my main issue in buying this was to relieve my lower back pain and it has not helped. I will be returning at the end of my 30 day trial. If you don't have lower back pain then you are probably OK, but I will need to return and purchase a different mattress specifically for lower lumbar support.
