“I am strictly a side sleeper and my wife sleeps on her back as well as side. With every mattress up till now I have always had to switch sides quite often due to pain in the hips and shoulders. My wife is always in pain due to severe arthritis in just about every joint and has had a hard time being comfortable on any mattress. Not too long ago we purchased a soft mattress from a popular bed in the box store. It was a very good mattress, but my wife still had a rough time with pain.
At 70 years of age I have slept on many mattresses. I have tried springs, memory foam, and even latex. We agreed to give it a try and the Nolah has exceeded all expectations! I no longer need to shift sides and my wifes pain has been greatly reduced. Being a big boy at 270 pounds I was concerned that the mattress might not be the right fit after watching some of the video reviews (they left the impression it might not be best for heavier people). I was almost shocked at how comfortable this mattress was for me! I am even able to sleep on my side on the very edge of the Nolah without the feeling that I might roll off the bed.
We are both thrilled with the Nolah and agree that it is the best mattress we have ever slept on. At this time, I cant speak on how it will hold up with time; but I have a feeling it will do well. It may sleep cooler than other mattresses, but we have not noticed that fact and dont really care one way or the other. If one is a side sleeper or suffers from joint pain, this should be the magic bullet! It is for us.”
