Nolah Adjustable Base w/Wall Glide - Queen Reviews

4.8 Rating 14 Reviews
The Adjustable Base bends and folds like it is supposed to. The lights under the bed and the USB charging ports are convenient things. The Base was easy to assemble, but it came configured to be connected to in-home WiFi. It constantly beeps when it is not connected to the WiFi, and there were no instructions on how to disconnect this beeping sound. A call to customer service provided the answers on what cable needed to be disconnected. Annoying that the instruction manual was not complete. Unfortunately, despite the claims from Nolah Customer Support, the Nolah Evolution 15 Luxury Firm mattress does not bend well with the Adjustable Base. This seems to be the result of having a 15" thick mattress, and any similarly thick mattress will have the same problem bending. In effect, we do not adjust the Adjustable Base, and therefore it goes unused.

The adjustable base is perfection. It fit inside my canopy frame and adjusts very quietly. Very pleased.

My adjustable base with wall glide is the luxury I never thought I'd need or want in my early thirties, but it has been wonderful and really makes me look forward to going to bed at night, which is saying a lot from a chronic night owl. Pros: I paired it with a new Casper hybrid mattress, so I have no idea which is responsible for the data from my Fitbit telling me I have longer REM cycles, longer periods of deep sleep, and less time awake at night than I did on my old bed. But I can definitively say that I look forward to "putting my feet up" at night, especially if I've been on them all day, and I use that Zero G mode more often than I thought I would just to take the light pressure from my back if I've been sitting or standing a lot. I also use the massager every night (another feature I wasn't super excited about since online reviews tended to be split, and I don't typically like the itchiness that follows more of a vibration-type massage), and I usually pair it with the zero g mode and let it gently shake my muscles into a more relaxed state. The massage also makes a lovely white noise that's quiet enough to fall asleep to, but just loud enough to drown out the thoughts that usually keep me from going to bed at night (my bed is on carpet). My favorite part is actually flattening out from Zero G after that because it stretches my back a bit, and feels like it's pulling those compressed vertebrae apart. Cons: Committing to getting this frame over any other online adjustable base was difficult because it did not have a sleep trial, return policy, or even a white glove setup that could guarantee someone would be able to get it up my three flights of stairs. However, the number of features it promised, and its superior warranty on electronic parts for a DIY gal like myself helped a lot in my decision to go forward anyway. The shipping experience, however, actually sucked. I slept on my Casper mattress on the ground for almost a month before my Nolah bed frame finally arrived via FedEx from California, all banged up and waterlogged. (It literally sat in a warehouse one town over for a whole week while they replaced a shipping label and, presumably, waited for the box to dry out enough to deliver to me.) When I received it, the box was really beaten up and hole-y, still damp and disintegrating in places, and some of the steel parts had been damaged or bent during transport. (likely when the FedEx guy literally had to flip the box up my staircases end-over-end because he didn't have an assistant. I was too weak to help.) I took a few photos, especially since one of the joints seemed bent, but when we unfolded it, it didn't prove detrimental to the stability of the frame, and everything seemed to work okay. The steel frame is just scuffed in some places now, but it did a good job protecting the electronics. I'm lucky it never sat outside my apartment in the rain. Suggestions: I frequently lose the remote. Adding even a velcro strip that lets me attach it to the frame would solve my problem. I'll probably take some time to do that soon. The nice fabric layer makes it a little more complicated than just sticking on, though. There are some days I wish the feet section went higher. There are good reasons probably why that section doesn't lift higher, but I thought it was worth a mention. I was surprised when I received the bed frame that it only had two massage motors, when review videos of the "adjustable base w/massage" version showed 4 on that frame. I honestly don't know if reducing it to two makes the experience better or not for those who aren't fans of vibration massages. The set-up manual doesn't say anything about that beeping noise coming from the wifi receiver upon immediate plug-in. I unplugged that box for now since I'm not using Alexa/Google with it. The set-up manual DOES say that I could add a headboard mount? The website doesn't mention anything about that, and I counted it as a feature this frame didn't have. I'm still not positive where the mount would go, though, or where I could purchase one. In conclusion: Despite everything in regards to the shipping, I still love this bedframe and all its features. It's my first adjustable frame, and now I've convinced all my friends they need one in their lives, too. Thank you, Nolah, for all the thought you clearly put into designing this!

I love my Nolah adjustable base. ZeroG is such a comfy position for lounging in bed. The hardest part about the whole experience was getting the adjustable mattress in the door and up to my bedroom. I was able to put it together myself. (It's essentially just attaching legs.) But you'll need a hand to flip it over. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.

Just bought a 119 year olf farm house and could nit fit my adjustable frame up the stairs. I purchased the Nolah because it folds and would make it up the stairs. What a great choice. It is super quiet and has really neat lights under it if needed. Smooth action is another plus. Can't say enough about the compact size though. Fits up difficult stairs....

Solid product, my first adjustable base and Im enjoying it. The quality is top notch and I have confidence this will last a very long time. The only thing I would improve is the information regarding the useable under bed space. Maybe I missed it but the arms that raise and lower the bed take up additional space that can no longer be used for storage. I figured you have about 6-8 inches of usable space under the base with the legs fully extended. My favorite purchase from Nolan.

Absolutely! I purchased a Nolah Queen size Original 10 Mattress with an adjustable base after do a lot of research. I sleep on my side and experience night sweats. Nolah was at the top of many reviews for those type of sleepers. The website is easy to navigate and my bed and base arrived promptly. Setup was quick and surprisingly easy. And ohhhh the comfort. I have slept through the night for the first time in years. The mattress is like a cloud and I can position it any way to make it better. I am over the moon happy with my new Nolah bed.

We had wanted an adjustable base in a long time but the ones we looked at were +$2000! We went with Nolah's and have no complaints. Will recommend this to others.
