Nice quality, but arm length is nowhere near what is stated on size chart.

I am very happy with my new skiing jacket by Northwest Tech. The fabric, the seams and the zippers seam indestructible. First I was a bit surprised that there is no thermal insulation in the jacket, so I learned what a hard shell is. I combine it with a functional winter base layer and a thin down jacket. This worked perfect under all conditions so far from sub 0F up to 30s. Because of the wide relaxed cut there is plenty of room to wear thermal layers. And of course I love my unique colors!

Nice to be able to buy an all American made jacket, at a reasonable price.

Very pleased with the overall design quality. Materials are top notch and the fit is next to perfect. The style points are off the charts too! I will undoubtably be buying more kits in the future.

I purchased the NWT3K jacket this past summer 2018 and used it first on New Years Day 2019 at Silver Mountain (Kellogg, ID). It was a cold day with some wind, but the jacket kept me warm while skiing with young friends. All the pocket placement is well thought out and functional. I chose the body Sky Blue and the arms/hood Florescent Yellow, so that I can be readily seen by my friends and others on the mountain. The jacket is size M and I am 5'-7", 155 lbs, 41 inch chest. The fit is snug (how I like it), but with plenty of room for layering. If my chest size was any bigger, I would probably go with a size L. The jacket size/fit-wise seems similar to the Arcteryx Theta jacket I use to have (it was a M, too, and a snug fit). I have worn the NWT3K jacket other days (attached photo of 1-23-2019 powder day at Silver Mountain) and it has kept me dry and warm when I've fallen in the powder (I'm old! 58). I'm glad I got it ... it is well made.
