“I used the kit on a HD36 mill. The design is great. Problem is the slotted holes are not long enough to depress the blade down. A longer bolt is needed to install the bracket on drive side and spacer. Check You Tube see others with the same issues.”
“I love the roller guides. My mill is cutting great now. No more wavy cuts when the blade starts to dull.
Only problem is again the lack of precision in the manufacturing. The trunnion block on operator side is too short to apply needed down pressure. I had to make a 1/4” spacer between the slide bearing and guide bracket that trunnion bolts to. Also the drive side bracket is to flimsy and should be improved. Here are links to two you tube videos I did of the install and issues I ran into.

“Aluminum blocks should be steel using dissimilar metals in this situation is a poor choice, vibration shakes adjustment loose and adjustments on the receiving axis are hard to access because axis still sit to close to cover.
This is a poor idea developed by engineering that doesn't actually know how to mill and the abuse that a mill take milling logs bigger than 25" dia x 16' using a HD36 VPro.”
We're thrilled to hear that the 4-Axis Adjustable Blade Guide Upgrade Kit has improved the quality of your milling projects. Our development team worked hard to incorporate the 4-axis blade guide technology into the HD36 line of sawmills, and your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you for recommending our product!
